Including managers' high pay makes for misleading truth - Tim Colebatch
It is well said that there are lies, damned lies, and statistics but this time the statistics are detailed and enable themselves to be separated from the lies and damned lies that are undergirding an industrial relations campaign that is nothing full of nothing but hubris. Using executive salaries to boost a case which will cut wages in real terms and make employment even more insecure is the height of cynicism. Already consumer sentiment is falling as exposed in the Westpac survey. Check with retailers. Working people know it is the time to be wary.
