Howard's on the side of the worker...the backside
And you thought militant unions (you probably didn't notice the ones who did their job quietly) were the problem. Now the curtain is going up on...the militant employer. You've probably scotched your union membership (if you ever were a member - John Howard says 80% of Australian workers are not in unions and he hasn't said that what he's about is getting rid of the 20% who are) but you can bet your bottom dollar that the boss hasn't scotched the company membership of the employer's union (oops, sorry...I mean business or industry association).
