Civil disobedience qualifies under counter-terrorism laws

Scott Parkin
currently in detention in Melbourne
Brian, a caller to-night on Australia Talks Back, says that he rang the Attorney-General's Department this afternoon. The information he gained from A-G's was that breaking the law while undertaking civil disobedience could bring you under these counter-terrorism laws. As he said, in such a case Mahatma Gandhi would have been detained and deported. One could go on to say that so would Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King.

Are these laws second rate?
Not if you want a police state!
