Do we want to go to war on fuel prices?

John Murphy has called on the Howard Government to regulate fuel prices using the special defence powers reserved to the Commonwealth in the constitution. You might like to let Miss Eagle know what you are paying for petrol at the moment - particularly if you live in rural, regional, or outback Australia. Here in Upper Ferntree Gully in the outer south-east of Melbourne, Miss Eagle yesterday, Thursday, paid 144c per litre.
