Riding well on the swell?

Is the new Fair Pay Commission going to be fair? Points of comparison with the UK's Low Pay Commission outlined by Robin May show that comparing the FPC with the LPC is not comparing apples with apples. The untested princple of the Howard Government is that if there is a strong economy it will benefit everyone - that if the tide comes in and lifts boats, all boats will be lifted. This attitude is a clear sign of putting an economy before people, the rich and able before the poor with low ability. All boats will not be lifted by the tide. The ones that have had the benefit of good design, a good level of investment, full maintenance, and strong unfrayed ropes will lift and move well on the swell. The boats that are of poor design, have not had good maintenance, have a poor level of investment, and weak frayed ropes will not lift well on the swell. They will take water on board, the weaknesses in the vessel will show, and they will sink.
